I decided to use this illustration for the purpose of explanation.
In this illustration there are two animals viewing a number from a point of view that they are naturally used to, with a bat from above and an ape from below (two different perspectives).
It clearly shows in the illustration, a number, that from the ape's point of view is '9', and from bat's point of view is '6'. Both views are correct, depending on the position from which they are seeing this figure.
In relation to this illustration, people experience life in different ways.
Take for instance, through our daily living, a situation that appears light to one person might sound otherwise to another and that may make them react in totally different ways.
How one reacts to a situation, therefore, will be determined by certain factors to include but not limited time and point in time, mindset, background, social status, individual limitations, experiences, strength and weaknesses, support systems, conflict of interest and more.
You might find people arguing in a forum about an issue they both have different view of, and about which they might each be right depending on what they are basing their reasons.
Just to mention, someone's view in life is open to change. Therefore, a circumstance may make one to change from one point of view to another different way from the usual. Just like in religious, political, cultural differences, and more, it takes much understanding to respect one another's view or even welcome and practice their belief. It is also good to note, many a times, people abide to some beliefs and ways of practices not because they believe in them but because they are bound by some policies, norms or rules surrounding them at their respective environments, by which they should or must abide.
All in all, there need to be a common ground of understanding that our views in life, can never be same, and we therefore need to understand and respect the various points of view if we ever find ourselves in situations where we cannot convince the other party on what we believe in or our perspective in life.
My take is, we are simply one human, living the same life with different views.
