Against all odds

'Against all odds' is a phrase that brings to my mind a cactus plant. I must say I'm a cacti lover.

For what is basically known, a cactus thrives well in arid and semi-arid climates that are believed to be harsh conditions for plants to thrive in; despite this, cactus go as far as bearing fruits and flowers.

Similarly, a human's life is filled with so many challenges that threaten to halt progress and productivity; like cactus, I believe that humans too have the ability to push through these seemingly undesirable challenges set forth by life and bloom to great desired outcomes.

God created all humans and equipped them with the ability to adapt, adjust, and conquer dire life situations.

Therefore, instead of despairing, one needs to accept that it is possible to overcome, then realize the available options for the solutions and work towards attaining that which is desired; also, one might be required to make certain adaptive changes to favor the process, in relation to the life situation and desired outcome. The process of fighting through might seem repetitive but with continued strife there will be an ultimate win!
